I find that astonishing. The sceptic in me says BMW recommends this so the car wont last as long and you have to buy a new one sooner. Here's a quick update. They disassembled intake manifold and found it full of oils. Same situation with oil separator and hoses attached to it. They cleaned intake manifold, injectors, and hoses. They advised that new separator failed and replaced it with new one again. I know that the replacement capacity is 5l, but what is the full capacity of the engine? my mechanic tells me that it is 6l but I only put 5l and the oil level measure went to max.
